Chadwick Nott in Bristol is recruiting an Associate to join its Restructuring & Insolvency team. The role spans both contentious and non-contentious work on complex distressed matters for a range of stakeholders. You should have 2-5 years PQE with experience in restructuring, insolvency or special situations.

A strong commercial mindset and excellent written and verbal communication are essential. The position involves cross-border matters and working with top clients.

Responsibilities

• Advising corporate debtors, lenders, sponsors, distressed investors and insolvency practitioners
• Working on complex, strategic and time critical restructuring matters
• Supporting advisory, transactional and contentious instructions
• Handling matters involving financing, security and restructuring documentation
• Working closely with leading restructuring accountants and turnaround professionals
• Supporting cross border matters through collaboration with international offices
• Contributing to high value work across sectors including retail, financial services, digital business, energy, renewables, real estate and infrastructure

Salary: £70,000 to £95,000

A leading national practice is seeking an Associate to join its highly regarded Restructuring & Insolvency team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a collegiate, supportive and commercially focused team advising on complex stressed and distressed situations across a broad range of stakeholders.

The Role

You'll work across both contentious and non contentious restructuring and insolvency matters, supporting partners on high profile domestic and cross border mandates. Your work will include:

• Advising corporate debtors, lenders, sponsors, distressed investors and insolvency practitioners
• Working on complex, strategic and time critical restructuring matters
• Supporting advisory, transactional and contentious instructions
• Handling matters involving financing, security and restructuring documentation
• Working closely with leading restructuring accountants and turnaround professionals
• Supporting cross border matters through collaboration with international offices

Candidate Requirements
