Job summary

Flagship Consulting in London seeks an Associate Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Quantity Surveyor to take full project ownership from inception through completion. You will engage with clients, manage multi-sector projects, and have scope to work overseas.

The role offers exposure to high-profile developments across Residential, Commercial, Hotels, Retail and Education, with project values from £1m to £500m. UK and international opportunities may arise.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field; ideally an RICS member.
• Experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor in a Consultancy/PQS environment.
• Experience of projects in Property/Building sectors.
• Experience managing projects up to £20 million.
• Experience leading teams and developing business, via networking or repeat work.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

One of the UK's leading Property Consultancies is actively recruiting an Associate Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Quantity Surveyor to be based in London.

THE COMPANY

The client is one of the leading Consultancies in the UK with a network of offices across the country as well as overseas. They have a great reputation in the market and are working on some London's highest profile developments. Projects can range from Public to Private sector with individual projects including Residential, Commercial, Hotels, Retail and Education. Values can range from £5 million to multi billion size projects.

THE POSITION

They are actively looking to recruit an Associate M&E Quantity Surveyor to get involved in taking full responsibility of projects from inception to completion. The successful M&E Quantity Surveyor will be given the opportunity to take full client ownership and work on projects across a range of sectors. Value of projects can range from £1 - £500 million. At Associate level the successful candidate will also be given the opportunity to get involved in business and client development and represent the company at various networking events and meetings. A unique element of this role is the opportunity to also work on projects overseas should this be of interest to the successful candidate.

THE CANDIDATE

• Have a relevant degree and ideally be a full member of the RICS
• Have experience working as a Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Quantity Surveyor on the Consultancy / PQS side
• Have experience working on projects within Property / Building
• Have experience of managing projects up to the value of £20 million
• Have experience managing teams of people and ideally experience developing business either via networking or repeat business from existing clients
• Have good communication and client facing skills
