Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Product Manager to support platform capabilities powering Hayu and EMEA Networks DTC propositions. This role collaborates across engineering, data, editorial, and commercial teams to ensure scalable, reliable platforms that underpin multiple propositions and international markets.

Reporting to the Product Director, Platform, you will drive the platform roadmap, define requirements with architects, and optimise performance, analytics, and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Experience in an engineering or product role.
• Understanding of APIs, integrations, cloud-based architectures, and modern digital platforms.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing backlogs, roadmaps, and cross-functional delivery.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with streaming, OTT, subscription or digital media products is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Support delivery of the platform roadmap for Hayu & EMEA Networks DTC propositions.
• Develop shared capabilities including CMS, content ingestion, search, recommendations, metadata, analytics, and partner integrations.
• Balance short-term priorities with long-term technical investments.
• Translate technical documentation into customer-facing FAQs.
• Platform & Technical Delivery: Define requirements and acceptance criteria with engineers and architects.
• Backlog & Prioritisation: Manage platform backlogs across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Scalability & Reliability: Design platform solutions for scalability, resilience, maintainability, and cost efficiency.
• Operations Excellence: Drive performance, reliability, monitoring and incident management.
• Partnerships & Integrations: Support distribution and platform partnerships across devices, operators and third parties.
• Collaboration: Deliver partner requirements with commercial and technical teams.
• Vendor & Dependency Management: Manage platform dependencies and vendor relationships.
• Data & Optimisation: Use data to identify improvement opportunities and embed analytics requirements.

About the Role

This role works across the shared foundations that enable content publishing, personalisation, search, platform integrations, partner distribution, commerce and operational excellence of our streaming products.

Reporting to the Product Director, Platform, you will work closely with Engineering, Architecture, Data, Editorial, Commercial, and Product teams to ensure our platforms are scalable, reliable, and ready to support multiple propositions and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Roadmap Support delivery of the platform roadmap supporting Hayu & EMEA Networks DTC product propositions.
• Define and evolve shared capabilities including CMS, content ingestion, search, recommendations, metadata, analytics, and partner integrations.
