Purpose of Job

The Associate is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the Bank’s platforms and software solutions.

The Associate plays a key role within the squad, leading efforts in designing, developing, and optimizing EBRD's infrastructure and software solutions within their value stream.

They provide guidance to team members and collaborate with multi-functional teams and business product owners to deliver high-quality, product-aligned services that meet user needs.

The role may involve leading small projects; proficiency in software design, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), or related technologies is expected.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  7. Managing cost and budget: Use tools to track effort and manage technology value, without direct budget responsibility.
  8. Quality at our core: Embed technical excellence and QA mindset, emphasizing automation and best practices like TDD.
  9. Secure First: Ensure engineering aligns with security policies, embed DevSecOps practices, and conduct risk analysis.
  10. Drives User Experience: Develop services based on user needs, capturing requirements and aligning with user journeys.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Education and Qualifications

Networks – Network Security expertise in:

  • Perimeter Security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, anti-malware, threat prevention (Check Point, Palo Alto, Cisco)
  • Cloud network security (Check Point, Azure)
  • Web Application Firewalls (WAFs)
  • SSL VPNs, SASE, network segmentation, load balancing, NAC, Wi-Fi security, RADIUS/TACACS, PKI infrastructure
