• MRTPI qualification.
• Strong background in infrastructure, energy or major projects planning.
• Experience on large-scale planning applications or nationally significant infrastructure projects.
• Excellent project management and report writing skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement experience.
• Commercial awareness with ability to develop lasting client relationships.
• Collaborative approach and mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure planning projects through all stages of the planning process.
• Prepare high-quality planning statements, reports and supporting documentation.
• Manage relationships with clients, local authorities and key stakeholders.
• Provide strategic planning advice on nationally significant infrastructure and major development projects.
• Support business development activities, including proposals and client engagement.
• Mentor and develop junior members of the planning team.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high technical standard.
