Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an Associate Planner to join its infrastructure planning team in the UK. The role focuses on delivering major NSIP/DCO projects with MRTPI expertise, leading client engagement and steering planning documentation.

The successful candidate will contribute to business development, mentor colleagues and work across energy and infrastructure schemes with a collaborative, proactive approach.

Qualifications

• MRTPI qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in infrastructure planning.
• Familiarity with Planning Act 2008 / DCO procedures.
• Experience in managing clients and stakeholders.
• Strong report-writing skills.
• Commercially aware and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Lead NSIP/DCO infrastructure projects from start to finish.
• Handle multiple energy and infrastructure schemes.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships.
• Prepare planning statements, reports and supporting documentation.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to team growth.
• Support business development activities and cross-team collaboration.
• Collaborate with environmental planning, sustainability, land and CPO specialists.

Associate Planner | Infrastructure & Energy | UK

We are currently working with a growing consultancy that is looking to appoint an Associate Planner to join its expanding infrastructure planning team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MRTPI Planner with strong DCO / NSIP experience who is looking to take on greater responsibility and play a key role in some of the UK’s major infrastructure and energy projects.
