Job summary

Browne Jacobson LLP in the United Kingdom seeks an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Clinical Negligence team, specialising in claims for defendants and NHS Resolution matters.

You will deliver high-quality legal services across complex clinical negligence matters, providing strategic, commercial management of claims and delivering secondment support to key clients both remotely and on site. The role offers a flexible hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• Clinical negligence experience – defendant/claimant or catastrophic personal injury experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to draft clear and concise legal documents and advice.
• Experience in inquest or healthcare advisory work an advantage.

• Providing exceptional client service, including proactive, strategic and commercial management of claims.
• Providing responsive secondment support to key clients – remotely and on site.

What We\’re Looking For

• Clinical negligence experience – defendant/claimant or catastrophic personal injury experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft clear, concise and accurate legal documents and advice, and to communicate complex matters in a straightforward manner to clients and colleagues.
• Experience in inquest or healthcare advisory work an advantage.
