This team enables automation at Amazon Robotics Fulfillment centers, supporting Amazon Internal Fulfillment Technologies & Robotics teams by providing real-time and offline (image/video) data auditing services. A key contribution of this team is maintaining inventory accuracy at fulfillment centers.

An Associate in this role reviews videos of stowing actions at a fulfillment center, understanding the content thoroughly to use human judgment combined with tools to identify activities captured in the videos. They verify or mark product locations using designated tools, ensuring high accuracy. This operational role involves performing precise video/image audits under supervision, contributing to defect reduction.

Key job responsibilities

• Watch hundreds of videos per shift, providing responses focused on accuracy, speed, and proper practices.
• Maintain a dedicated workspace when working from home, ensuring data security and proper setup.
• Adhere to scheduled breaks, spending approximately 6.8 to 7 hours daily on video assessments.

A day in the life

Associates work in a 24x7 environment with rotational shifts, typically 9 hours including scheduled breaks. Shift timings may change every 3-4 months based on business needs. Night shift allowances are provided as per policy.

Weekly offs are scheduled as two consecutive days, which may vary from weekends.

About the team

The Data Auditing Operations team provides human support to Amazon Fulfillment facilities, aiming to enable hands-free active stowing through visual audits of videos/images. Videos, usually 15-20 seconds long, are reviewed thoroughly to ensure quality and support automated processes, helping maintain stow quality at fulfillment centers. Performance evaluations and coaching are part of this role.
