Hoare Lea in the Southwest is seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer to join our Plymouth or Exeter offices. You will lead large-scale, complex projects, coordinating with a range of consultants in a collaborative, technically driven environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex mechanical projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and building services.
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale, complex projects and manage stakeholders’ expectations.
• Monitor and report metrics; motivate team to achieve targets.
• Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to ensure design excellence.
• Mentor junior staff and disseminate knowledge within the firm.
• Support financial oversight of projects, including resources and fees.
• Identify innovative working methods and keep abreast of competitors.
• Uphold QM standards and risk control procedures.
