This senior role focuses on delivering innovative, sustainable building services while mentoring engineers within a collaborative environment.

You will own mechanical design delivery across diverse sectors, interface with clients, drive low-energy solutions, and contribute to BIM-enabled workflows and continuous improvement across

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent).
• Extensive experience in building services design across multiple sectors.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage client relationships.
• Strong understanding of UK regulations, guidance, and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design from concept through to project completion on complex schemes.
• Act as primary client interface, translating business needs into engineering solutions.
• Involvement in project inception, workshops, and design reviews.
• Embed low-carbon and energy-conscious design principles in delivery.
• Provide technical direction and mentoring to engineers and technicians.
• Manage project deliverables to meet programme, budget, and quality targets.
• Promote BIM and digital design workflows across projects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, standards, and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with regional teams to support wider business growth.
