in the search for an Associate Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established MEP team delivering high-quality design across a diverse project portfolio.
This is a senior opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead projects and teams, working across a wide range of sectors including commercial, education, residential and specialist environments.
You will take a key role in leading mechanical design delivery, managing project teams and maintaining strong client relationships, while supporting the continued growth of the business.
Lead MEP engineering teams delivering a range of design projects Act as lead engineer for mechanical building services design from concept through to detailed stages Manage project delivery, risk and commercial performance Produce and oversee reports, drawings and specifications across RIBA stages Mentor and develop junior engineers within the team Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, structural engineers and contractors Attend client and technical meetings, providing clear and confident advice Ensure compliance with legislation, standards and health and safety requirements
Strong background in mechanical building services design within consultancy or contractor environment Experience leading projects and managing teams Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering Chartered or working towards IEng or CEng status Proficient in CAD and BIM tools including Revit Strong commercial awareness and project management capability Excellent communication and client-facing skills
