Essential duties & responsibilities:
  • Partner with the London Senior Regional Sales Manager and wider team to deliver regional financial, commercial and performance objectives, including sales growth, Mako utilisation and market development.
  • Support forecasting, pipeline management and opportunity planning by identifying risks, growth opportunities and actions required to improve execution.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the regional strategic plan, supporting prioritisation, progress tracking and execution of key initiatives.

  • Build and strengthen strategic healthcare system relationships, supporting customer partnerships, account development and long-term business growth.
  • Support complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, decision-makers and influencers across customer organisations.
  • Lead through influence by role modelling high performance standards, encouraging ownership and supporting colleagues to execute effectively against regional priorities.
  • Coach and mentor colleagues by providing guidance, feedback and practical support to strengthen capability, confidence and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to a high-performance culture by supporting engagement, talent development, retention and the sharing of commercial best practice.
  • Work cross-functionally with enabling teams to support a smooth order-to-cash process, effective account communication and consistently high levels of customer service.
  • Escalate relevant customer, account and performance insight to senior management, ensuring clear communication and timely follow-up.
  • Stand in for the Senior Regional Sales Manager during agreed periods of absence, supporting continuity of communication, prioritisation and team coordination.
Qualifications & experience:
  • Proven success over at least five years in a sales, sales support and/or marketing role, with demonstrable examples of coaching, influencing or supporting colleagues to improve performance.
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding targets, with evidence of contributing to team performance and shared commercial outcomes.
  • Product and sales knowledge within the medical devices sector, or experience within a theatre environment, would be advantageous.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to support financial objectives, sales growth initiatives and strategic account planning.
  • Experience supporting sales forecasting, pipeline management and opportunity planning would be advantageous.
  • Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a strategic and proactive approach to business planning.
  • Confident, adaptable and resilient, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong communicator with excellent coaching, feedback and stakeholder-influencing skills.
  • Collaborative leadership style, with the ability to build credibility, trust and strong relationships internally and externally without relying on direct authority.
  • High integrity, strong ethics and a clear sense of ownership and accountability for regional performance outcomes.
  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, conflict resolution and critical thinking skills.
