Pegasus Group seeks Associate landscape planners to join the Edinburgh Environment team. You will apply strategic landscape analysis to guide development and deliver sustainable designs on UK projects.

The role involves producing LVIA’s, landscape appraisals, and related statements, while collaborating with barristers on planning appeals. The ideal candidate has a degree in Landscape Architecture, LI chartered status, strong report writing skills, and proven experience in energy/residential

Qualifications

  • A degree or postgraduate diploma in Landscape Architecture.
  • Chartered Member of Landscape Institute.
  • Proven understanding and experience in LVIA’s, feasibility studies, landscape planning and design, supporting landscape statements and mitigation strategies.
  • Track record in the energy and residential sectors.
  • Strong technical report writing skills.
  • Proactive, strategic and analytical approach to client requirements.
  • Sound commercial acumen and ability to work collaboratively or independently.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Landscape Appraisals, LVIA’s, TVIA’s and greenbelt/greybelt assessments.
  • Coordinate workstreams and liaise with barristers for planning appeals.
  • Contribute to sustainable development strategies and project delivery.
  • Prepare clear, robust landscape statements and mitigation strategies.

We are seeking Associate level landscape planners to join our Environment team based in our Edinburgh office. We operate across the UK, delivering exceptional and sustainable development services.

What we need:

At Pegasus Group, landscape planning is crucial to project delivery. We use strategic landscape analysis to guide development principles and deliver sustainable designs.

We are looking for experienced landscape planners with a proven track record to deliver workstreams including Landscape Appraisals, LVIA’s, TVIA’s, greenbelt and greybelt assessments.

Our team works on high profile projects, many of which involve liasing with barristers for planning appeals. Passion for sustainable development, team collaboration, professional integrity, and strong communication skills are essential.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
  • A degree or post graduate diploma in Landscape Architecture
  • Chartered Member of Landscape Institute
  • Proven understanding and experience in LVIA’s, feasibility studies, landscape planning and design, supporting landscape statements and mitigation strategies;
  • A track record in the energy and residential sectors.
  • Experienced professional with strong technical report writing skills;
  • Demonstrate successful project management and effective organisational and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and independently;
  • An ability to be proactive, strategic and analytical in your approach to support our client’s requirements.
  • Sound Commercial acumen
