Job summary

Croydon Health Services NHS Trust is recruiting an Associate Infrastructure Engineer to deliver and support critical digital infrastructure across acute and community sites. You will help maintain, monitor and troubleshoot server, storage and networking environments, working within the Digital Services Infrastructure Team to meet performance and security SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Resolution and management of operational infrastructure incidents and requests assigned in a prompt and efficient manner and within agreed customer SLAs
• Deployment, maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of all systems (operating or applications) and hardware in use by the trust
• Management and maintenance of the Trust’s 3rdline infrastructure systems
• Configuration, documentation and control of the digital infrastructure environment to NHS security minimum standards
• Infrastructure Department Compliance to Security standards as defined by the DSPT Toolkit and NHS England’s Cyber Security Team
• Undertake and/or support technical projects as required
• Specialist knowledge in Server and Storage solutions, with focus on virtualised environments, and act as a lead specialist in own area
• Generalist knowledge across a range of infrastructure specialities including Telecoms, Networking or Architecture
