Derby College Group is seeking an Associate HR Business Partner to join our high-performing HR team. This hybrid role across College sites involves providing expert human resources guidance on a broad range of employment matters and supporting HR projects and training.

You will work with managers and colleagues to ensure fair outcomes in absence management, disciplinary, grievance, and capability matters while promoting wellbeing and inclusive policies.

Qualifications

• Strong employee relations knowledge and ability to advise managers and staff
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across levels
• Ability to manage a varied workload and keep up-to-date with employment law

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on employment matters including absence management, discipline, grievances, capability, bullying and harassment
• Contribute to organisational change projects, policy development and HR-related training
• Support managers and staff with employment legislation, terms and conditions, wellbeing and family-friendly policies
