Your Role:

As Associate Headteacher, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and pastoral care. Responsibilities include:

• Leadership & Strategy – Collaborate with the Headteacher and senior team to drive school improvement and maintain the school’s Good Ofsted rating.
• Teaching & Learning – Champion innovative teaching methods and interventions tailored to SEMH students.
• Safeguarding & Wellbeing – Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that supports students' personal and academic growth.
• Staff Development – Mentor and inspire a talented team, ensuring high-quality teaching and professional development.
• Stakeholder Engagement – Build strong relationships with parents, carers, local authorities, and external agencies.

About You:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced leader with:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and significant experience in SEMH or SEN settings
• A track record of successful school leadership and improvement
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, behaviour management, and curriculum development
• A commitment to student-centred education and inclusive practice
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
