Job summary

DWF is seeking an Associate with 2-5 years PQE in Fraud and Motor claims to join our Scotland team. The role is hybrid, based in Glasgow or Edinburgh with two days in the office weekly, and involves managing a varied caseload, investigations, drafting pleadings, and advising clients.

You will work alongside experienced lawyers to deliver high-quality legal services while ensuring regulatory compliance and contributing to team growth.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years PQE in Fraud & Motor claims.
• Strong knowledge of Fraud and Motor insurance law, including civil procedure and litigation processes.
• Proven ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
• Scottish qualified legal professional

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and liaising with experts.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediation, and settlement negotiations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, case law, and industry trends.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver integrated legal solutions.

This is a hybrid role that can be based from either of our Glasgow or Edinburgh office, with 2 day's attendance to the office each week.

Essential:

• Qualified Associate with a minimum of 2-5 years PQE (Post-Qualified Experience) in Fraud & Motor claims.
• Strong knowledge of Fraud and Motor insurance law, including civil procedure and litigation processes.
• Proven ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
• Scottish qualified legal professional
