We are recruiting for an established and highly regarded engineering consultancy looking to appoint an experienced Principal Flood Risk Engineer or Associate Director to lead and develop its Flood Risk team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer who wants to make a genuine impact, taking ownership of the company's growing flood modelling capability, developing technical expertise and helping shape the future of the department.
Rather than simply managing an established function, you'll have the opportunity to build and develop a specialist service, supported by an experienced team and an established client base.
You’ll take responsibility for a team of approximately 5–6 Flood Risk Engineers, working closely with a similarly sized Infrastructure Engineering team.
Your responsibilities will include:
We’re keen to speak with experienced Flood Risk Engineers who have:
A degree in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering, Hydrology, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline is desirable.
Chartered status (ICE, CIWEM or equivalent) would be advantageous but is not essential.
We’re open to applications from both established Associate Directors and experienced Senior/Principal Flood Risk Engineers who are ready to take the next step in their careers.
If you’re technically strong, commercially aware and excited by the opportunity to develop a flood modelling capability and lead a team, we’d love to hear from you.
