Job Title: Associate Electronics PCB Design Engineer Ref. 956

Salary: £36,330 - £39,055

Job description

Salary awarded is based on skills assessment at interview.

This role is available full-time for 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday, or part-time with a minimum of 28 hours per week. Flexible or compressed working hours are available.

This role is office-based.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and test electronic circuits and printed circuit boards.
  • Work within a product development team on hardware products and solutions to enhance security.
  • Create and maintain electronic hardware for custom-designed security products for partners locally and internationally.
  • Modify existing designs and collaborate on new product and system designs.
  • Participate in training and external courses, and dedicate time to innovation and research.
About You

You should have:

  • Experience in designing and testing analogue, digital, and microcontroller-based systems.
  • Understanding of product and system design and development.
  • Relevant work experience or qualifications, such as an HND in electrical/electronic engineering.

Beneficial but not essential:

  • Further qualifications in electrical/electronic or mechanical engineering, or a relevant Degree (2:2 or higher).
  • Experience in electronic schematic capture, PCB design, RF, EMC, and signal integrity.
  • Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes.

  • Design, develop, and document electronic PCB systems.
  • Verify designs through testing and peer reviews.
  • Support products and investigate defects.
  • Contribute to library parts creation and project planning.
