Job Title: Associate Electronics PCB Design Engineer Ref. 956

Department: Engineering

Salary: £36,330 - £39,055

Job description

Salary awarded is based on skills assessment at interview.

This role is available full-time for 37 hours per week (Monday-Friday) or part-time with a minimum coverage of 28 hours per week. Flexible or compressed working hours are available.

This role is office-based.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing, building, and testing electronic circuits and printed circuit boards.
  • Collaborating with a product development team on hardware products and security solutions.
  • Creating and maintaining electronic hardware for custom security products.
  • Modifying existing designs and working on new product/system designs.
  • Receiving training and development opportunities, including external courses and dedicated research time.

About You:

  • Experience in designing and testing analogue, digital, and microcontroller-based systems.
  • Understanding of product and system design and development.
  • Relevant work experience or qualifications, such as a HND in electrical/electronic engineering.
  • Beneficial but not essential: further qualifications, experience in schematic capture, PCB design, RF, EMC, signal integrity, and PCB manufacturing processes.
