Job summary

Beeby Anderson Recruitment is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join an independent MEP design consultancy in Leeds. You will have autonomy over design and financial aspects of projects, with a realistic progression path within the business.

Responsibilities include leading the electrical design across varied healthcare, education, commercial and residential schemes, developing project plans, conducting feasibility studies and cost analysis, and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in electrical engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems design and development.
• Experience in project management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems for various projects.
• Develop project plans and schedules.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Provide technical support to clients.
• Mentor and train junior engineers.
