Job Description:

The Position

Join a globally recognized professional services firm as an Associate Electrical Engineer. You will work across sectors such as transportation, infrastructure, environment, building, power, energy, water, and mining.

As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you will lead in prestigious projects within a team of 10 engineers, part of a larger group of 35 engineers across Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health disciplines.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Meeting the requirements of an Associate Electrical Engineer and delivering projects aligned with client expectations.
  • Providing design and technical advice in a project manager capacity within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Supervising detailed design completion and the work of others.
  • Assessing project feasibility and leading feasibility studies.
  • Producing detailed/performance specifications.
  • Acting as the client’s key contact and ensuring project delivery meets KPIs.
  • Working under client direction to interpret project needs.
  • Developing and managing junior staff.
  • Maintaining project overview and resource planning.
  • Leading team meetings on resourcing, staff issues, H&S, quality, and development.

  • Lighting calculations (software and manual)
  • Energy lighting, Small power
  • Fire Detection & Alarm, Intruder detection
