The Position

Join a globally recognized professional services firm as an Associate Electrical Engineer.

You will work in various sectors such as transportation, infrastructure, environment, building, power, energy, water, and mining sectors.

As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you will be taking a leading role in a number of their most prestigious projects.

The team you’ll be part of comprises 10 engineers and is part of a wider group of 35 engineers working across the Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health specialisations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Meeting the requirements of an Associate Electrical Engineer grade and have a proven track record in delivering projects for your discipline and in line with client expectations.
  • Work in a joint leadership capacity within a mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) discipline team providing design and technical advice in a project manager capacity on a wide range of projects.
  • Supervise the completion of detailed designs and supervise the work of others in this function.
  • Consider the feasibility of the project and lead the overall feasibility study.
  • Take responsibility for and direct others in the production of detailed/performance specifications.
  • Act as the client’s key point of contact and responsible for overall project delivery in terms of client deliverables and internal KPIs.
  • Able to work under the clear direction of the client and interpret the needs of the project as a whole to meet the full delivery needs.
  • Development and line management of junior staff.
  • Maintain project overview & understanding of the team workload & associated resource requirements, working with team leaders to ensure resources are fully utilized.
  • Hold regular team meetings to discuss resourcing, staff issues, H&S, quality, training & development, and other relevant issues.

Qualifications
  • BEng/BSc/MEng in applicable engineering discipline

  • RevitMEP training applied to the discipline
