About Creative Review
Creative Review has been bringing the creative community together since 1980, first as a print magazine and now across more platforms than ever. We deliver the sharpest opinion, analysis and advice on life in the commercial creative industries.
We question, investigate, and illuminate the issues and topics most important to creatives and designers today. We celebrate the work that matters. And we dig into how and why it gets made. We challenge and champion the industry we love.
Thinkers, makers, leaders, learners
We are here for everyone involved in commercial creativity, anywhere in the world. We share insight and inspiration across disciplines and borders, connecting brilliant minds to make brilliant things happen.
As well as supporting and celebrating creatives of all kinds, we aim to demonstrate how creative thinking and design make businesses and brands more successful, dynamic, and engaging for audiences.
About the role
Working with the Creative Review Editor, you will help devise the strategy for CR across its print magazine, website, and social media.
As a full-time member of the editorial team, you will manage the team in the Editor’s absence and assist with requests from other teams where possible.
You will write features for Creative Review magazine and website, and also manage a list of contributors to the brand, including commissioning articles and helping to manage the CR advisory board.
Working with the Editor, you will manage production of Creative Review’s events, coordinating with the editorial, marketing, events, and commercial teams to bring them to life, and participating where necessary.
You will work with the Editor and the commercial team to understand Creative Review’s commercial strategy and assist with ideas for sponsored content projects and partnership events. This may involve commissioning articles from freelance writers for commercial projects.
You will assist the Editor and Social Media manager with the strategy and direction of Creative Review’s social media and help the Editor with the production of the Creative Review Annual Awards.
You will be comfortable working closely with other teams within the business, and also acting as a brand ambassador for CR in wider settings, including attending industry events and building contacts.
