Job summary

Cencora is seeking a reliable Transport Driver based in Chessington to support safe, timely collection and delivery of products, materials and medical samples. You will ensure shipments are transported securely, documentation is completed accurately and customer requirements are met in compliance with transportation regulations.

Responsibilities include completing scheduled pickups, verifying shipment details, obtaining proof of delivery, maintaining temperature control, and coordinating updates

Qualifications

• Requires full, valid driving licence and clean driving record.
• Experience in driving, courier, logistics, or transportation roles preferred.
• Strong understanding of delivery procedures and transport documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail in records and paperwork.
• Ability to follow route plans and delivery schedules.
• Good communication to provide service updates and resolve issues.
• Ability to handle sensitive or regulated products.
• Knowledge of health, safety and transport compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Summary of Role

This role is essential in maintaining service excellence by ensuring shipments are transported securely, documentation is accurately completed, and customer requirements are met in compliance with transportation regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled pickup and delivery activities in line with agreed timelines and service requirements.
• Verify shipment details and ensure all delivery documentation is completed accurately.

• Transport products, materials, and medical samples safely while adhering to transportation regulations and temperature control requirements.

Skills and Knowledge

Desirable

• Experience transporting healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical products.
• Understanding of temperature-controlled transportation processes.
• Familiarity with electronic proof-of-delivery systems.
• Experience working within regulated logistics environments.
• Knowledge of vehicle inspection and basic maintenance procedures.
• Customer service experience in a distribution or logistics setting.
• ADR or other relevant transportation qualifications.
• Experience supporting specialist or time-critical delivery services.

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required. Less than 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, courier operations, delivery services, or a related field required. Certification in dangerous goods awareness, licensure in operation of the applicable vehicle class, cold chain handling, or equivalent required.
