Job summary

Cynergy Bank is seeking an Associate Director for the Relationship Management team in London to lead a portfolio of business customers with lending up to £10m and support Relationship Directors on larger deals.

The role is permanent with a hybrid work pattern (3 days in the London office, 2 days from home). You will drive high-quality loan submissions, promote banking products, and ensure AML/KYC compliance while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial banking or a similar financial services role.
• Experience in trading businesses will be beneficial.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Sound understanding of risk, governance, AML, and KYC frameworks.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and driving results.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and develop a portfolio of business customers with lending up to £10m.
• Support Relationship Directors on larger, more complex transactions.
• Prepare and submit high-quality loan applications for smaller deals.
• Identify opportunities to promote and cross-sell banking products.
• Ensure full compliance with AML, KYC, and regulatory requirements.
• Champion a high-quality customer experience and continuous process improvement.
