Job summary

A global professional services company is seeking an Associate Director - Procurement in Leeds. Qualifications

  • Experience in regulated procurement, especially Public Contract Regulations 2015.
  • Leading strategic major procurement projects or programmes.
  • Strong background in tender preparation, development and management.
  • Commission, client relationship and people management experience.
  • Experience with NEC and JCT contracts.
  • Experience in defence, utilities, infrastructure sectors.
  • Valid or reinstatable (SC) Security Clearance.
  • Working towards CIPS MCIPs accreditation.
  • Business generation including bid development.

Role Overview

Due to increased workload and securing new clients across the Infrastructure and Real Estate sectors, the Associate Director will lead procurement and contract advisory services within the UK offices, driving strategic procurement and contract strategy.

Responsibilities

Main Expectations
  • Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to Public and Private sector clients.
  • Lead and manage end-to-end procurement services on major projects or programmes.
  • Lead and support the development of the procurement services provided by Turner & Townsend.
  • Lead and develop a team to achieve successful outcomes for our clients.
  • Managing client relationships and related commission outputs and deliverables.
  • Lead and support business development and marketing of the Contract Services team’s service proposition.
  • Lead on bid preparation and proposal documentation.
  • Support the delivery of both team and wider business targets.
