Job summary

M&G plc is seeking an Associate Director, Process & Platform in London/Edinburgh to lead pricing system development and end-to-end processes for Corporate Pension Solutions. You will blend actuarial, technology and process expertise to create scalable pricing platforms and efficient workflows.

Join a high-impact team delivering strategic model infrastructure, partnering with Life, Finance and Tech to drive operational efficiency and growth while maintaining rigorous governance and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record in development of DB pricing or Solvency II models, tools and processes.
• Excellent software development skills, with C# preferred; Python and VBA experience valuable.
• Qualified Actuary or actuarial skillset required.
• Strong knowledge of DB benefits, IFRS 17 and Solvency UK for life insurance; ALM knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Support pricing tools and model infrastructure across CPS projects.
• Help design and enable short-, medium-, and long-term strategy for responsible models with Life, Finance and Technology teams.
• Support outsourcing arrangements for tools and systems as required.
• Identify and deliver day-to-day process automation within CPS.
• Collaborate with the CPS Pricing team and broader business to improve processes and build technical capability.
