Job Description

Turner & Townsend alinea is hiring an Associate Director to join the MEP Real Estate team, supporting the growing Sports & Leisure sector. The role involves working on iconic sports and entertainment venues and masterplans, offering exciting development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and delegate activities of the cost consultant team: feasibility estimates, cost planning, contract procurement, tender documentation, tender evaluation, value engineering, commercial awareness, fee generation, dispute resolution, and post-contract management.
• Promote a safe and secure environment, championing the company's culture.
• Lead by example to ensure team engagement.
• Drive performance standards through expert communication and effective use of performance management processes.
• Work on diverse projects, providing evaluation and problem-solving, advising subordinates on technical issues.
• Brief the team on project scope to clarify roles and responsibilities.
• Manage and regulate service delivery to achieve excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering high-quality cost management/quantity surveying services within the MEP space
• Professional qualification (RICS or similar)
• Degree or HNC qualification
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
• Experience delivering MEP elements for clients
• Knowledge of and contacts within the MEP supply chain (tier 1 and below)
• Proficiency with digital software for cost management services
• Commercial acumen and negotiation skills
