Job summary

Turner & Townsend alinea is seeking an Associate Director to join the MEP Real Estate team in London, supporting growth across a diverse portfolio of real estate projects and masterplans. You will lead cost consultancy activities and guide client teams through complex delivery stages.

Your track record in cost management and quantity surveying within the MEP space, together with professional qualifications, will help drive value engineering, procurement and post-contract delivery for

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering cost management/quantity surveying in MEP
• RICS or similar professional qualification
• Degree or HNC level qualification
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects
• Experience delivering MEP elements for clients
• Knowledge of the MEP supply chain
• Utilising digital software for cost management
• Commercially astute with good negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate cost consultancy activities including feasibility estimating, cost planning, contract procurement, tender documentation, tender evaluation, value engineering, commercial management, fee generation, dispute resolution and post-contract management.
• Promote a safe and secure working environment while supporting the organisation's values and culture.
• Foster team engagement, collaboration and high performance.
• Drive performance standards through effective communication, coaching and performance management practices.
• Contribute to a range of projects requiring technical evaluation, analysis and problem solving.

The role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of real estate projects and masterplans while contributing to the development and success of clients and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate cost consultancy activities including feasibility estimating, cost planning, contract procurement, tender documentation, tender evaluation, value engineering, commercial management, fee generation, dispute resolution and post-contract management.

Qualifications

• A proven track record of delivering high quality cost management/quantity surveying services within the MEP space


• Professionally qualified (RICS or similar)


• Degree or HNC level qualification


• Ability to successfully manage and prioritise more than one project at a time.


• Experience in delivering MEP elements of work for clients


• Knowledge and contacts within the MEP supply chain (tier 1 and below)


• Utilising digital software for delivery of cost management services


• Commercially astute with good negotiation skills
