Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate/Director to join the MEP Real Estate team in London, driving cost management across a portfolio of real estate projects.

You will lead feasibility, cost planning, procurement, tendering and post-contract management, delivering high-quality cost guidance to clients while mentoring teams and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering cost management across full lifecycle.
• Professionally qualified (RICS or similar) or working towards.
• Degree or HNC level qualification.
• Ability to manage more than one project at a time.
• Experience delivering MEP elements for clients.
• Knowledge and contacts within the MEP supply chain (tier 1 and below).
• Commercially astute with good negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate cost consultancy activities including feasibility estimating, cost planning, contract procurement, tender documentation, tender evaluation, value engineering, commercial management, fee generation, dispute resolution and post-contract management.
• Promote a safe and secure working environment while supporting the organisation's values and culture.
• Foster team engagement, collaboration and high performance.
• Drive performance standards through effective communication, coaching and performance management practices.
• Contribute to a range of projects requiring technical evaluation, analysis and problem solving.

• Oversee and manage service delivery to achieve high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.

The role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of real estate projects and masterplans while contributing to the development and success of clients and project teams.

• Commercially astute with good negotiation skills
