My Client is recruiting for an Associate Director Mechanical Engineering in the Water Sector.

Your Purpose

  • Own and direct teams undertaking technical design work following relevant standards and codes, ensuring high quality.
  • Define briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
  • Manage time and budgets to meet project milestones and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Set quality assurance standards in design.
  • Develop and manage mechanical engineering capabilities within the practice.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Chartered or Fellow Mechanical Engineer.
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Significant experience in Mechanical Engineering within the Water Sector.
  • Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
  • Knowledge of mechanical equipment such as pumps, blowers, screens, and chemical dosing plants, with a good understanding of UK design standards and practices.
