Job description

Title: Associate Director Market Access, UK & Ireland

Location: UK Remote

Planet Pharma is partnered with a global Biotechnology company specialising in the development of innovative cancer treatments. They are now looking for Associate Director of Market Access for UK and Ireland to work fully remote in the UK.

Main Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key member of the UK & Ireland Market Access Team.
• Oversee national market access activities, including pricing and reimbursement, for pipeline products/indications before launch.
• Execute access and value-related projects, such as landscape assessments, payer market research, and payer advisory boards.
• Coordinate with UK & Ireland Horizon Scanning bodies and HTA agencies on upcoming product appraisals.
• Lead the development of HTA submissions for new products/indications, collaborating with HEOR and Medical colleagues and managing external specialist agencies.
• Manage interactions with HTA agency stakeholders throughout the HTA appraisal process, from scoping to final recommendations.
• Provide input on commercial access discussions as needed.
• Incorporate local needs into EU market access, HEOR, and pricing strategies for the current and future portfolio.

Main Requirements:

• Experience in UK & Ireland market access, either in industry or consultancy.
• Comprehensive understanding of UK and Irish payer systems, including stakeholders, processes, and funding flows.
• Proven track record in writing HTA dossiers and managing HTA submissions in the UK & Ireland.
• Experience in adapting economic models for UK & Ireland submissions.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and external vendors to achieve project goals.
• Preferred experience in the oncology market.
