Job description

Associate Director required for a busy multi-sector client. Your responsibilities will include leading the Landscape and Environmental team to manage the timely and profitable delivery of projects, as well as working closely with other directors as part of the Senior Management team. You will also help secure new commissions and landscape and environmental opportunities, promoting high standards of design and place-making both internally and externally with clients.

Key job responsibilities:

• Generate and convert new commissions for landscape and environmental projects.
• Promote the values of the business throughout the office.
• Maintain high professionalism in landscape design to ensure effective project delivery from inception to completion.
• Develop new opportunities in landscape and environmental services.
• Maintain effective client liaison throughout project stages.
• Promote the culture and values of the business among staff.
• Uphold high personal and professional integrity, supporting policy and collective decision-making.
• Be an active member of the Senior Management Team, working with other directors for effective management.
• Manage the landscape and environmental team to deliver projects on time and profitably.
• Assist in recruiting staff with appropriate skills.
• Develop and maintain an effective marketing strategy.
• Enhance the quality and standards of work produced.
• Represent the business at networking events.
• Conduct regular project progress and technical reviews.
• Lead initiatives on landscape and environmental design practice, guidance, and legislation updates.
