Job summary

Project Centre in London is seeking an Associate Director to provide strategic and technical leadership across kerbside management, sustainable travel, traffic and highway design, developing the regional business and strengthening client relationships.

You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and analysts, oversee bids and budgets, and ensure high-quality, commercially successful projects while driving best practice in transport policy.

Qualifications

• Degree in Transport or Design or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven experience delivering profitable workstreams with local authorities.
• Strong leadership and team development experience.
• Track record of winning work and managing client accounts.
• Financial awareness including budgets and resource management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proactive, self-starting approach to grow the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team.
• Identify and pursue new opportunities; support bids and tenders.
• Act as account manager for key clients and deliver exceptional service.
• Support regional financial performance and manage project budgets.
• Provide technical guidance and oversee project deliverables.
• Guide project managers to meet client requirements, timescales and budgets.
• Lead bids and fee estimates to secure future work.
• Explore opportunities in business case preparation and transport policy.
