Bring your skills as an Associate Director in ICA Engineering, playing a vital role in business development and ICA engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure. You will have opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.

We specialise in instrumentation and control/automation across sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Education. We deliver industry-leading engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. We currently have opportunities in our Manchester office.

Your Purpose:

• Own and direct teams undertaking technical design work following relevant standards and codes, maintaining high-quality outputs.
• Define briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
• Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones and programmes.
• Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Establish quality assurance standards in design.
• Develop and manage ICA engineering capabilities within the practice.

What you can bring:

• Chartered Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer.
• Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
• Knowledge in ICA design (instrumentation, PLC and SCADA systems), motor control, system architecture, communication networks, P&ID’s, ATEX practices, functional safety, control specifications, schedules, and system requirements in industrial environments.
• Expertise in UK design standards, working practices, and guidance.
