As a thought leader, it is imperative for you to remain abreast of advancements in technology and evolving market trends, particularly those pertaining to Data security and privacy, Artificial Intelligence, Zero Trust, and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Cyber resilience and risk quantification as well as market regulatory needs and compliance. Additionally, the capacity to deliver presentations at industry events and or executive roundtables and to conduct substantive discussions on these subjects with senior executive clientele is crucial for this role.

Responsibilities

  1. Leading and mentoring a team of highly skilled cybersecurity consultants, ensuring successful delivery of client engagements
  2. Managing and expanding a significant revenue portfolio, while developing and implementing innovative strategies to enhance service offerings and market presence.
  3. Providing expert guidance and thought leadership to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  4. Managing workstreams on multiple client and internal projects and delegating activities to team members.
  5. Supporting the growth of our practice on recruitment initiatives including resume reviews, candidate testing, and interviewing. Oversee workstreams across several client and internal projects, delegating tasks to team members.
  6. Supporting practice expansion by participating in recruitment, encompassing resume review, candidate evaluation, and conducting interviews.
  7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including other Cybersecurity practices, sales and field marketing, to drive positive business outcomes for Verizon
  8. Collaborating with the enablement team to build programs that enhance the field’s knowledge of Cyber operations, evolving threats, relevant case studies, and regulations.
  9. Managing business and P&L of the Verizon threat and advisory practice for EMEA.

You’ll Need to have:

  • Experience working as a Cyber Security executive at a leading Cyber Security company and/or consulting firm
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of 7 to 10 Cybersecurity consultants
  • Financial acumen and managing substantial revenue portfolios
  • Ability to establish a strong industry presence by presenting at conferences, authoring white papers, and sharing thought leadership.
  • Proven ability to identify and win new consulting engagements and to expand advisory footprint for clients.

Even Better if you have:

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with executive clients, including CISOs, IT leaders, and other business leaders.
  • Experience in creating innovative Cyber events to promote industry presence and brand recognition
  • Ability to drive technical and business change, understanding organizational cybersecurity decision-making, and influencing those decisions.
  • Experience leading teams on complex investigative and advisory projects in financial crime and related areas, including fraud, bribery, sanctions, money laundering, data governance, privacy, market abuse, and insider trading.
  • Commitment to high-quality, client-centric work.
  • Experience in developing client proposals, emphasizing methodologies and leveraging data and technology in forensics and threat intelligence.
  • Proactivity in staying informed of cybersecurity trends and developing new service offerings.
  • Experience delivering proactive services such as tabletop exercises, breach simulations, purple team exercises, and training.

If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.
