Verizon's Global Cybersecurity Solutions group is a leading provider of advanced cybersecurity services, safeguarding organizations against evolving digital threats. We are seeking an Associate Director who will spearhead the Forensics, Threat Intelligence and Incident Response practice area for EMEA. This pivotal role involves leading a team of elite cybersecurity consultants, overseeing a substantial revenue stream and driving strategic growth within the practice.

As a thought leader, it is imperative for you to remain abreast of advancements in technology and evolving market trends, particularly those pertaining to Data security and privacy, Artificial Intelligence, Zero Trust, and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Cyber resilience and risk quantification as well as market regulatory needs and compliance. Additionally, the capacity to deliver presentations at industry events and or executive roundtables and to conduct substantive discussions on these subjects with senior executive clientele is crucial for this role.

Responsibilities

  1. Leading and mentoring a team of highly skilled cybersecurity consultants, ensuring successful delivery of client engagements
  2. Managing and expanding a significant revenue portfolio, while developing and implementing strategies to enhance service offerings and market presence
  3. Providing expert guidance and thought leadership to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  4. Managing workstreams on multiple client and internal projects, delegating activities to team members
  5. Supporting practice growth through recruitment initiatives, including resume reviews, candidate testing, and interviews
  6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including other Cybersecurity practices, sales, and marketing, to drive business outcomes
  7. Working with enablement teams to develop programs that enhance knowledge of cyber operations, threats, regulations, and case studies
  8. Managing the business and P&L of the Verizon threat and advisory practice for EMEA

You’ll Need to have:

  1. Experience as a Cyber Security executive at a leading cybersecurity company or consulting firm
  2. Proven leadership and mentorship experience with teams of 7-10 cybersecurity consultants
  3. Financial acumen and experience managing substantial revenue portfolios
  4. Industry presence through conference speaking, white papers, and thought leadership
  5. Ability to identify and secure new consulting engagements and expand existing advisory services

Even Better if you have:

  1. Strong relationships with executive clients, including CISOs and IT leaders
  2. Experience creating cybersecurity events to enhance industry presence
  3. Ability to influence cybersecurity decision-making processes within organizations
  4. Experience managing complex investigative and advisory projects in financial crime and related areas
  5. Commitment to delivering high-quality, client-centric results
  6. Skills in developing client proposals that leverage data and technology
  7. Proactive awareness of cybersecurity trends and service development
  8. Experience delivering proactive cybersecurity services such as exercises and training
