You'll lead significant proposals, presentations, propositions and thought leadership, while providing clear direction to engagement teams. You'll also help strengthen commercial and operational performance, develop our people and support the continued growth of a scalable, high-performing Regulatory Practice. You'll make an impact by:

  • Leading complex financial services regulatory engagements from mobilisation through to completion, maintaining effective oversight of scope, quality, timing, budget and key delivery decisions.
  • Building trusted relationships with boards, executive teams and senior stakeholders by providing clear, practical advice informed by their regulatory obligations, businesses and strategic priorities.
  • Working with Partners and Directors to shape client and account strategies, translating client needs into proportionate, fully costed solutions and compelling proposals.
  • Identifying and converting market opportunities, making a significant contribution to presentations, propositions, client campaigns and thought leadership.
  • Managing portfolio performance, including pricing, margin, utilisation, billing, recovery and work in progress, taking early action where delivery or commercial performance is at risk.
  • Leading and developing engagement teams through clear direction, purposeful delegation, coaching and timely feedback, while supporting recruitment, performance and career development.
Are you an experienced regulatory professional who combines technical credibility with commercial judgement and strong stakeholder skills? If you enjoy managing complex engagements, translating regulation into practical solutions and helping a growing practice succeed, this role could be for you!

We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Here's what we're looking for in our ideal candidate:

  • Extensive FCA regulatory compliance expertise within UK financial services, including knowledge of the FCA Handbook, SYSC, PRIN, Consumer Duty, conduct and financial crime requirements.
  • Significant consultancy or advisory experience, ideally gained within professional services, with a strong record of managing complex regulatory engagements and producing high-quality outcomes.
  • Experience across regulatory interpretation, compliance monitoring, thematic reviews, horizon scanning, regulatory mapping, gap analysis, remediation and the development of policies, controls and governance frameworks.
  • Strong awareness of current and emerging FCA priorities, industry themes and enforcement trends, with the ability to turn regulatory change into clear, practical and commercially informed advice.
