Pearse Partners has partnered with a UK mid-market corporate finance house looking to expand their Financial Services M&A team with an Associate Director from an IB or Big 4/Big 6 accountancy firm. The role targets candidates with a financial services background but is open to generalists looking to specialize.

Key responsibilities include:

• Originate and execute M&A transactions across the financial services sector, including asset-light, wealth management, and payments.
• Lead deal execution from start to finish, managing due diligence, valuation, financial modelling, marketing material preparation, and transaction negotiations.
• Build and manage client relationships.
