Associate Director - Energy Planning

Salary: £65,000+
Penguin Recruitment is pleased to support a leading UK Independent Infrastructure and Property Consultancy specializing in Environmental, Planning, and Sustainability. As an Associate Director in the Infrastructure Projects and Programmes team, you will play a central role in shaping energy projects with responsibilities including project delivery, business development, and strategic growth in the energy sector.
Your duties will include guiding planning and consent processes (such as DCOs, EIAs), supporting key infrastructure initiatives, and building lasting client relationships. You should bring sound judgment, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple high-profile projects from inception to completion.
Experience across other infrastructure sectors is welcome but not required. We seek someone who thrives in dynamic, complex environments, can lead teams, influence outcomes, and contribute to long-term strategy, especially in advancing the energy agenda.
