Bring your skills to the mix as an Associate Director in Electrical Engineering. You'll play a vital role in every aspect of electrical engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.

We specialise in all aspects of electrical engineering across sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Education. We provide industry-leading engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. If you are passionate about this industry, we would love to talk to you.

We currently have opportunities in our London office.

Your Purpose:

  • Own and direct teams undertaking technical design work following relevant standards and codes, ensuring high-quality outputs.
  • Define briefs, scopes of work, and lead bid proposals.
  • Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones and programmes.
  • Collaborate with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Establish quality assurance standards in design.
  • Develop and grow electrical engineering capabilities within the practice.

What you can bring:

  • Chartered or Fellow Electrical Engineer with experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary projects.
  • Extensive experience in the water industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical design (LV and HV systems), motor control centres/switchgear, electrical installations, HAZOP assessments, DSEAR/ATEX installation practices, SLD/BCD production, earthing and bonding, and familiarity with UK design standards.
  • Proven leadership in multidisciplinary delivery.
  • A proactive work mentality with a drive to expand AtkinsRéalis' client portfolio.
