Job summary

ImpactEd Group is seeking an Associate Director in its Consulting arm to lead partner relationships, shape the practice and deliver value-driven solutions. You will manage an established portfolio during a continuity phase and drive new business development with autonomy from early on.

You will design consultancy partnerships, lead proposals and negotiate for high-complexity engagements, while coaching colleagues and fostering an inclusive culture aligned with our values.

Qualifications

• Strong track record in consultancy or advisory work for education or purpose-driven organisations.
• Experience of business development: scoping, proposals and winning work.
• Depth in one or more specialisms and the ability to quality assure others' work.
• Experience of developing or coaching colleagues.
• Knowledge of the UK education system.
• Alignment with our values and the ability to demonstrate them in your work.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead consultancy partnerships, diagnose challenges and develop tailored solutions; sponsor engagements led by others and ensure quality.
• Commission and manage associates where needed.
• Hold a business development target; lead proposals, resource planning and partner negotiation for high-complexity engagements.
• Identify renewals and extensions; contribute to the practice pipeline and weekly commercial meetings.
• Bring depth in one or more specialisms, quality assure outputs, combine sector understanding with offers to create propositions.
• Act as a coach and role model; support colleagues in their development; foster an inclusive team culture.
• Contribute to Group-wide work, residentials and professional development, and to setting objectives.
