Job description

My Client, an impressive Investment Management business, seeks a restructuring professional from either a bank/lending or advisory background, to join their wider Commercial Restructuring team in London.

The role will cover the SME/Commercial end of the market and will have a leading role in the oversight and management of the Private Credit portfolio of distressed and strategic exit relationships, including managing borrower relationships and working with advisers.

Suitable candidates will possess:

• Demonstrable track record in Loan Restructuring and Recoveries – in a Lender or Advisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of Commercial Lending with experience across the financial services industry and knowledge of the SME / Mid-Market sectors within the UK market.
• Experience in Wholesale Lending and Residential Property Lending desirable but not essential.
• Experience of loan documentation negotiation (up to LMA standard) and execution.
• Strong financial modelling and Microsoft Excel skills.
