Job summary

Medpace in Stirling, UK, seeks a Director of Clinical Trial Management to lead day-to-day operations for oncology trials and other therapies. The role offers remote flexibility only with relevant experience and a competitive compensation/bonus program, plus equity grants.

The successful candidate will manage cross-functional study teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide sponsor liaison throughout trials from Phases 1–4.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a health or life science field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of Clinical Trial Management experience, CRO experience preferred.
• Experience in Phases 1–4; Phases 2–3 preferred.
• Strong leadership and timeline management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the project per contract and regulatory standards.
• Serve as primary Sponsor contact for operational issues and study deliverables.
• Maintain knowledge of protocol, therapeutic area, and indication.
• Provide cross-functional oversight of internal project team and training.
• Review study protocol, data analysis plan, and final study report when applicable.
• Develop operational project plans and manage risk assessment.
• Oversee management of study vendors and site quality.
