What we're looking for:

We are seeking an Associate Director, Building Surveyor to join our team based in either our Covent Garden or Epsom office.

This role involves a broad range of surveying duties for various private residential properties, mainly in London and the Home Counties, across sectors including prime and super prime residential.

The position offers valuable experience, working alongside Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Bank Monitoring Surveyors, and Expert Witnesses in quantum and technical matters.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with new business development, including preparing bids and quotes.
• Undertaking measured and building surveys (residential and commercial).
• Preparing Schedules of Condition and Awards for Party Wall matters.
• Writing specifications and preparing tender and contract documentation.
• Providing Contract Administrator services.
• Chairing project progress meetings and preparing minutes and reports.
• Undertaking dilapidation surveys and preparing Scott schedules.
• Conducting defect analysis surveys and preparing reports.
• Preparing Licences to Alter.
• Assisting with Expert Witness matters and CPR35 reports.

Requirements:

• An RICS-accredited Degree in Building Surveying.
• Full membership of RICS (MRICS).
• Strong interpersonal skills with colleagues, clients, and the public.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good IT skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality service.
