Job summary

Procter Street is seeking an ambitious Associate Director - Building Surveying to take ownership of a growing service line, lead and develop a high-performing team, and strengthen client relationships while driving new business growth.

You will work closely with Directors, shaping the future of the Building Surveying division, recruiting and mentoring surveyors, and expanding the client base across the North West and wider UK.

Qualifications

• MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor status with significant experience across commercial building surveying.
• Proven leadership or management experience, recruiting, mentoring and developing surveyors.
• Commercially driven with entrepreneurial mindset to win new work and grow fee income.
• Excellent client relationship skills and ability to build trusted senior stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Building Surveying division, defining strategy and long-term direction.
• Develop a high-performing team with recruitment, mentoring and development responsibilities.
• Drive business development and new revenue across commercial property and construction sectors.
• Develop and retain key client relationships and build a personal network of owners, developers and advisers.
• Provide senior technical oversight on dilapidations, contract administration, schedules of condition, pre-acquisition surveys, and building condition surveys.
• Collaborate across the wider group to offer integrated surveying, engineering and project management solutions.
• Work with Directors on growth, recruitment, resource planning and implementing scalable systems.
