Job summary

Zest4Talent is recruiting for an Associate/Associate Director in Leeds to lead Mechanical or Electrical Building Services design on major projects. You will mentor engineers, manage delivery, and contribute to business growth within a growing Leeds operation.

Opportunities are available for leaders with a strong technical background and Chartered status to drive projects from concept to completion and expand client relationships in the UK market.

Qualifications

• Experience at Associate or Associate Director level within Building Services or MEP consultancy.
• Strong technical background in Mechanical or Electrical Building Services design.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary projects and managing engineering teams.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale, technically complex developments.
• Excellent client-facing, communication and relationship management skills.
• Commercial awareness, including project budgets, fee proposals and resource planning.
• Experience working within BIM environments and familiarity with Revit, Amtech, Hevacomp or IES.
• A relevant engineering degree and Chartered Engineer status.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mechanical or Electrical Building Services design on major projects from concept through to completion.
• Mentor and develop teams of engineers and technicians.
• Take ownership of technical delivery, design quality and project performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, developers and wider project teams.
• Contribute to business development, fee proposals, bids and new project opportunities.
• Manage project budgets, resources, programmes and commercial performance.
• Work alongside the leadership team to support the continued expansion of the Leeds office.
