Job summary

Stantec in Leeds seeks an Associate Mechanical Engineer to lead the MEP team and deliver high-quality building services projects across education and healthcare sectors. You will drive project delivery, manage the team, and support work-winning activities while developing client relationships.

You will foster a collaborative culture, oversee design quality, safety, and governance, and mentor engineers to drive technical excellence and continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading MEP teams and delivering complex building services projects.
• Consultancy experience preferred.
• Excellent commercial awareness and client management experience.
• Deep understanding of client priorities in education and healthcare sectors.
• Collaborative leadership and commitment to team development.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery and manage the MEP team across multiple projects.
• Drive work-winning activity alongside leadership and develop client relationships.
• Grow and lead a high-performing MEP engineering team with QA, governance and resource planning.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high-quality outputs and satisfied clients.
• Mentor the team in technical excellence and drive process improvements.
