About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced rural property professional to join a respected and forward-thinking consultancy as an Associate / Director. Based in the Boroughbridge office, this position is ideal for someone ready to step into a senior leadership role, offering a blend of client-facing responsibilities, strategic input, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a regional team delivering rural property services to a high standard.
• Support the execution of regional business plans and strategic objectives.
• Provide comprehensive professional advice on a wide range of rural property matters, including:
• Valuations
• Landlord and tenant issues
• Property acquisitions
• Diversification projects
• Renewable energy and ecosystem services
• Build and maintain strong client relationships across the rural sector.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative working environment.
• Contribute to the strategic growth of the business through leadership development and operational oversight.

What We’re Looking For

• RICS-accredited degree with a minimum of 5 years PQE in rural surveying or a similar professional role.
• Strong experience across rural property matters, including:
• Valuations
• Landlord and tenant advice
• Compulsory purchase
• Infrastructure projects
• Renewable energy
• Planning
• Excellent planning, organisational, and IT skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
• Proven ability to build lasting professional relationships and networks.
• Confident working independently and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proactive and flexible approach to managing priorities and workload.
